Insulated cabinet for transporting food products
ROLL is the range of vertical isothermal containers fitted with a door, commonly known as a refrigerated cabinet.
The trolley is mobile and generally mounted on wheels. Its front door opening gives visibility and access to the entire load area. The inside of the cabinet can be fitted with grids to position food products without risk of crushing.
OLIVO offers a range of ROLL cabinets with usable volumes ranging from 130 litres to 1400 litres.

What are the advantages of the isothermal roll?
1. Maintaining the temperature of your products
Reusable, washable and high-performance, the OLIVO isothermal trolley combined with cold accumulators or eutectic plates (self-contained passive cold source) enables you to maintain the temperature of your products for 24 hours or more: this way you preserve the quality of your products right up to the point of final consumption.
2. ATP certification, regulatory compliance
ATP-certified, the Logistics Roll enables you to cover more than 80 kms without breaking the load. Delivering to several customers with the same refrigerated Roll is therefore possible, and with a good load capacity!
OLIVO's isothermal ROLL containers are isothermal cabinets approved for professional food transport in the same way as refrigerated vehicles, whose load capacity can vary according to your needs.

3. Dual-temperature refrigeration
Discover the bi-temperature cryogenic refrigeration of OLIVO® isothermal ROLLERS
SIBER SYSTEM® is a dual-temperature thermal tank fitted to the isothermal container, but it is also a cryogenic refrigeration service station.
The SIBER SYSTEM® service station automatically produces and doses the dry ice charge for the duration of the journey. The SIBER SYTEM® thermal tank receives the dry ice charge and regulates the temperature inside the isothermal ROLL. SIBER SYSTEM® maintains the temperature of fresh or frozen foodstuffs.
SIBER SYSTEM® cold containers are designed for large-scale operations that prepare a large number of consignments of foodstuffs every day: supermarket warehouses, wholesalers, central kitchens, freezer products, etc.
4. Durable design
All OLIVO insulated ROLL containers are based on the latest one-piece double-wall polyethylene technology with good thermal resistance for 24 hours or more.
The polyethylene making up the double wall of OLIVO isothermal containers is a very strong material offering excellent impact resistance. It is completely recyclable.
The insulation injected into the double wall of the refrigerated container is hermetically encapsulated, giving the OLIVO isothermal ROLL a long service life.
OLIVO has selected the best-performing insulating materials so that its isothermal boxes (refrigerated cabinets) can benefit from a very high isothermal value.
The expanded polyurethane foam, injected in situ, uses latest-generation foaming agents (walls and doors).
5. End-of-life recycling
After years of operation, OLIVO offers its customers an end-of-life processing and recycling service for refrigerated containers.
OLIVO collects the containers to be processed. This collection is part of the services offered by Olivo.
Metal components (closure, chassis, wheels, threaded inserts, stainless steel basket support grid, etc.) are removed for 100% recycling.
The body of the isothermal ROLL is cut into panels. The polyethylene/polyurethane sandwich panels and door are then crushed to separate the two materials by vibration.
The polyethylene is recovered and sent for recycling. As the ROLL polyurethane foam cannot be recycled, it is incinerated.
At the end of the process, OLIVO provides the owner of the isothermal containers with a certificate of destruction listing the types and serial numbers of the isothermal containers.
Which isothermal roll format for which use ?
1. The ROLL isotherme catering
Whether your products are packed in crates (euronorms) or on trays (euronorms or gastronorms), you'll find refrigerated container models adapted to your activity, and to the load capacity required, to make your life easier and your transport safer.
If you use plastic crates: the most frequently used standard is the so-called euronorm format, i.e. 600x400mm. The number of crates possible per isothermal container obviously depends on the height of the crate, which may vary.
If you use stainless steel or plastic trays: OLIVO stainless steel tray racks are available for euronorm 600x400mm or gastronorm 530x325mm formats.
This accessory is available for ROLL 220 and ROLL 370 models.

2. The isothermal tidal ROLL
No more seawater spills when you open the logistics ROLL: the fixed or removable drip tray in the bottom of the isothermal ROLL allows you to empty its contents once the fish has been placed on the stall, guaranteeing safety and compliance with hygiene standards.

Roll transport for supermarkets
ROLL isothermal cabinets are widely used by food warehouses to supply points of sale.
A single delivery vehicle equipped with this type of isothermal cart can deliver dry, fresh and frozen products to several stores in a single delivery round, with no risk of breaking the cold chain.
The refrigerated ROLL is a standard used by supermarkets and convenience stores.
The ROLL insulated container is available in numerous formats based on logistics standards in terms of load capacity.
What sizes do our insulated cabinets come in?
The right ROLL must fit in with your initial logistics. If you usually use pallets, the vehicle loading rate will be optimum with cold isothermal containers in pallet or half-pallet format.
If the ROLL-dry or the crate are the basis of your handling, several models of isothermal cabinets meet these standards.
The ROLL range also offers insulated ROLLs with a load capacity designed to accommodate 600 x 400 mm crates or cartons (quantity depending on ROLL size).
Certain models of ROLL container (=isothermal container) are specific to certain products or activities:
- fresh fish preserved on melting ice with the bottom of the ROLL acting as a retention container with emptying ;
- gastro-standard containers used for packaging in the catering industry;
How are our isothermal rolls refrigerated?
Often referred to as a refrigerated box or isothermal container, the OLIVO ROLL does not use a compressor to produce mechanical cold.
The OLIVO ROLL is refrigerated either with eutectic plates or with dry ice. When refrigerated, the transport ROLL is referred to as a refrigerated container.
The refrigerated ROLL maintains the temperature of foodstuffs for up to 24 hours, or even longer. It can be used to transport both fresh produce and frozen products for professional use.
The external dimensions, internal dimensions (dim WxDxH) and internal volume are indicated on each technical data sheet, and photos show the configuration of the containers. The bichromate zinc-coated steel closure ensures greater longevity and a hermetic seal on the stock of goods and foodstuffs throughout the journey.
